Peugeot launches 24 Hours of Le Mans pre-promotional test drive

Peugeot is offering test drives until Monday 17 June in support of the Peugeot TotalEnergies team's efforts at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

To wish the Peugeot Total Energy team the best of luck in the competition, Peugeot has organised test drives at its showrooms across the country so that more Korean customers can experience Peugeot models with motorsport DNA and technology. The event was organised to showcase Peugeot's agile handling, durability over 24 hours, and i-Cockpit interior inspired by racing cars, which has been perfected through years of motorsport experience.

All customers who test drive and sign for a Peugeot of their choice at a Peugeot showroom by the 17th, the day after the end of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and drive off the lot within the month will be rewarded with a generous gift. The winner of the first prize (1 person) will receive a gold bar worth 3 gold coins to give them a sense of victory, while the second prize (1 person per showroom and 11 winners in total) will receive a LEGO Technic Peugeot 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar worth 250,000 won. All customers who leave the store, except for the first and second place winners, will receive a bottle of Moet & Chandon champagne, representing France.

Peugeot returned to the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the first time in 12 years last year for its centenary edition. The 24 Hours of Le Mans is one of the world's top three motor races and Peugeot has a strong history at the event, having won the race three times (1992, 1993 and 2009) and taking all three podium places in the 1993 edition.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans, the fourth round of the World Endurance Championship for the 2024 season, is scheduled to take place in France on the 15th and 16th of this month, and the Peugeot 9X8 will compete in the Hypercar class.

This season, Peugeot is competing in the all-new 2024 Peugeot 9X8 Hybrid Hypercar, which has undergone a body redesign since round two in April, including the addition of a rear wing and aerodynamic tweaks. The 2024 Peugeot 9X8 features a graphic design by Peugeot Design Director Matthias Hossan, who personally designed the car's iconic lion pride.

"We want to show our support for Peugeot teams competing in some of the world's most prestigious endurance races and encourage more customers to experience Peugeot's rich motorsport history and technology," said Stellantisoria Vangsil. "We invite them to experience the lightness and agility of Peugeot's driving, which reflects its incredible motorsport technology."
